Fashioned Gingerbread PREP. 25min, COOK 1h, READY IN 1h 45min Ingredients: 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup butter 1 egg 1 cup molasses 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup hot water Add all ingredients to list 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9-inch square pan. 2. In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the egg, and mix in the molasses. 3. In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Blend into the creamed mixture. Stir in the hot water. Pour into the prepared pan. 4. Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in pan before serving. PREP. 25min, COOK 1h, READY IN 1h 45min

PREP 15min, COOK 12min, READY IN 1h 40min Chocolate Cookies Ingredients: 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 cups butter, softened 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix 4 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips 2 cups chopped walnuts (optional) 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside. 2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. 3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown PREP 15min, COOK 12min, READY IN 1h 40min

Peanut Butter Bars PREP 25min, READY IN 1h 25min Ingredients: 1 cup butter or margarine, melted 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 2 cups confectioners' sugar 1 cup peanut butter 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 4 tablespoons peanut butter 1. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter or margarine, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan. 2. In a metal bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread over the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares. PREP 25min, READY IN 1h 25min
