2 POWIAT GOLENIOWSKI The Goleniowski Poviat is situated in the northern part of zachodniopomorskie province. Area – 1617 km² Population – approx 79 065 people The poviat town – Goleniów

3 POWIAT GOLENIOWSKI The Goleniowski Poviat consists of six communes : Goleniów, Nowogard, Maszewo, Osina, Przybiernów and Stepnica

5 POWIAT GOLENIOWSKI The Goleniowski Poviat has a road network with an all-in length 657 km and moreover : national roads – 61,6 km province roads – 120,528 km

6 POWIAT GOLENIOWSKI The main advantages of the poviat are : the areas of forests - 35% of overall regions area, including four forest inspectorates, immune areas and sanctuaries, water reservoirs – 7% of overall area, including Szczeciński Reservoir, the port and the beach in Stepnica, Dąbie Lake, the beach and the centre of aquatic sports in Lubczyna, the Szczecin-Świnoujście shipping rout, many cycle routes, tourist routes and canoe trails on the river Ina.

7 POWIAT GOLENIOWSKI The main advantages of the poviat are : the closeness of Szczecin (35 km), Świnoujście (70 km, a connection with Ystad and Malmo) and Berlin (200 km), the international Szczecin-Goleniów Airport (5 km from Goleniów), well developed road network.

8 POWIAT GOLENIOWSKI The directions of economic and investment development in the region : a timber and furniture industry, an ecological agriculture, food processing, service, tourism and recreation.

9 POWIAT GOLENIOWSKI The Goleniów Industrial Park Area : 400 ha. Its situated on the crossing of road number 3 and a road to Lubczyna, it was made for industrial investments, stores and warehouses. Today it contains 29 works, the biggest of them are: Baltic Spinning, Faymoville, Rasch Poland.
