This indicator equips residual current circuit breakers and circuit breakers. It is an extremely useful indicator for installers during operating tests on the system. It can, for example, show immediately at a single glance the outgoer(s) at fault when a fault simulation is performed. This represents a major time saving for the installer who checks the outgoers in cabinets in which dozens of circuit breakers and residual current circuit breakers are aligned. Without this precious indicator it is not easy to locate faulty outgoers. For remote fault indication an SD type electrical auxiliary is used. In practical terms, for a device to be declared "Class-2 front face", the clearance between live parts and the user must be equal to twice the insulation voltage as defined in the insulation coordination standard IEC The declared clearance of Acti 9 is 3.6 mm (between phase and earth), and the distance between the external surfaces of the 45 mm front tip and the live parts is 8 mm, i.e. more than twice the declared clearance. Our competitors propose clearances ranging between only 3 and 4 mm. This means absolute safety and a guarantee that at no time can there be any contact between a live part and the user. An electric shock therefore becomes impossible. Once installed in an electrical enclosure or switchboard, only the front face of a modular device called a "45 mm front tip" is accessible. This requires that the "front tip" of the devices shall mandatorily be of class II and that the apertures executed for passage of the "front tip" retain the class II requirements after installation of the equipment (test by test finger). This means that the insulation (main, additional or reinforced) and protective impedance shall, if necessary, be either installed by the manufacturer, or provided at installation in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer or the supplier in charge. Note: Measures ensuring equivalent protection in the event of faults may be defined. 3) IEC § 410 and 53 § 410 (400.1)1 Introduction …… The arrangements for protection against indirect contact are: - automatic power supply cutoff (413.1); - the use of class II equipment, or by equivalent insulation (413.2); - non-conductive locations (413.3); - local equipotential bonding not connected to earth (413.4); - electrical separation (413.5).
