Deforestation problem in Europe

People have been involved with forests for ages.
Forest are slowly cutted out by people leaving near to it just for their daily needs.

Irresponsible deforestation, cutting out old or ill trees could do no harm to forest and it even helps it. But when trees are cut out from big areas just to get wood or to get minerals hidden under the forest, thats where the problem is born.

From the other hand situation in Europe doesn’t look as bad as it looks in general. From forest area is growing in opposit to worlds forest area with is getting smaller and smaller.

Over 40% of surface of the European Union is covered in forest and that’s about 25 % of world forest which protect us from climat changes but also is endangered by them. Trees are absorbing carbon dioxide.

European Union is calling to the limitation to a half of the global deforestation till 2020 to It is also proposed to give international benefits for developing countries, in which deforestation will be stopped. European Union is in cooperation with these countries, which export their wood in order to make forest management better and with these ones that guarantee their wood was cut legally.
