7 Najważniejsze zadania administracji rządowej: Opracowywanie krajowego programu ochrony zabytków i opieki nad zabytkami (GKZ); Realizacja działań wynikających z KPOZiOnZ (GKZ, WKZ); Inicjowanie procedury uznawania obiektu za pomnik historii; Prowadzenie krajowej ewidencji zabytków (GKZ); Prowadzenie wojewódzkiej ewidencji zabytków (WKZ); Prowadzenie wojewódzkiego rejestru zabytków (WKZ); Wydawanie decyzji, pozwoleń, zaświadczeń dotyczących zabytków wpisanych do rejestru i działań przy nich (WKZ, GKZ); Sprawowanie nadzoru nad działaniami przy zabytkach (WKZ); Uczestnictwo w finansowaniu zachowania zabytków (WKZ, GKZ); Współpraca z jednostkami samorządu terytorialnego (WKZ). The most important tasks of government administration authorities: Development of the national program for the protection of monuments and care of monuments (GIM); Implementation of the program for the protection of monuments and care of monuments (GIM, VIM) ; Initiation of a procedure for the recognition of the object as a monument of history; Keeping the state inventory of monuments (GIM); Keeping the regional inventory of monuments (VIM); Conduction of the voivodship register of monuments (VIM); Issue of decisions, permits, certificates for the registered objects, and activities related to them (VIM, GIM); Supervision over the activities related to the monuments (VIM); Participation in financing the restoration of monuments (VIM, GIM); Cooperation with local government units (VIM).

8 Najważniejsze zadania samorządu gminnego: Realizacja zadań własnych obejmujących sprawy kultury, w tym bibliotek gminnych i innych instytucji kultury oraz ochrony zabytków i opieki nad zabytkami; Opieka nad posiadanymi zabytkami; Opracowywanie gminnego programu opieki nad zabytkami (uzgadniany z WKZ) (454 – 18%); Prowadzenie gminnej ewidencji zabytków (w porozumieniu z WKZ); Tworzenie parków kulturowych (w porozumieniu z WKZ) (27); The most important tasks of local government of the commune: Execution of tasks and activities within commune competences, covering cultural affairs, including municipal libraries and other cultural institutions, protection of monuments and care of monuments; Care of owned monuments; Development of the commune’s program for care of monuments (agreed with VIM) (454 - 18%); Keeping the commune’s inventory of monuments (in agreement with VIM); Development of cultural parks (in agreement with VIM) (27);

9 Najważniejsze zadania samorządu gminnego Uwzględnianie ochrony zabytków i opieki nad zabytkami w strategii rozwoju gminy, studiach uwarunkowań i kierunków zagospodarowania przestrzennego gminy; Uwzględnienie ochrony zabytków w miejscowym planie zagospodarowania przestrzennego a także w decyzji o ustaleniu lokalizacji inwestycji celu publicznego, decyzji o warunkach zabudowy, decyzji o zezwoleniu na realizację inwestycji drogowej, decyzji o ustaleniu lokalizacji linii kolejowej lub decyzji o zezwoleniu na realizację inwestycji w zakresie lotniska użytku publicznego (w uzgodnieniu z WKZ). The most important tasks of local government of the commune: Taking into account the protection of monuments and care of monuments in the development strategy of the commune, and in studies of conditions and directions of spatial management; Taking into account the protection of monuments in the zoning plan as well as in the decision of the location of a public investment, the building permit, the permit of the execution of road investment, the decision of the location of a railway line or a permit of the realization of investments in public-use airports (in agreement with VIM).
